About me
Hi, thanks for taking the time to consider me for your team!
I’m a product designer hailing from NYC. I love traveling around the world, meeting and making new friends, debating best albums, and spending free time 3d printing and painting.
My interest in UX and Product Design came out of a long internal deliberation about the impact I wanted to have in my career while utilizing my passion in the visual space and skills in user facing situations. My previous work experience had given me the hustle to work hard and find simple solutions to complex and inefficient practices, and my eye for visual and accessible design guided my decision to become a Product Designer. Today, these skills and experiences are the foundation of my strengths in every role and project I take on.
With a love of picking up pen and paper to create something impactful and solve a pain point puzzle, I strive to be a better and more conscientious designer with every project I take. I hope to share my design passion in a positive, growth minded organization!
Great design comes from building a happy team environment
Brand adherence
The Product team knows and thrives on brand standards to streamline project work.
Designers and Engineers feel encouraged to contribute to the evolution of a design system.
Accelerate onboarding and accessibility standards.
Collaborative autonomy
Giving team members free reign to find creative solutions fosters product, team, and professional growth.
Setting time for regularly scheduled meetings and quick informal sync-ups streamlines projects and keeps Designers aligned.
Space for exponential growth
Foster a workspace where team members have an environment they can grow in and one they feel a desire to build themselves and their professional expertise.
What makes a good Designer great?
-
End to end responsibility
Its good to learn from failure, but the brightest way to exceed product goals is to deeply analyze success long term. An exceptional designer always believes that a product can be improved.
-
Research defines Design decisions
Knowing the customer wholly and what they love about a product greatly increases the rates of success on future work. Paying attention to usage and feedback makes a designer work more efficiently.
-
Collaboration with Engineers
A great Designer needs strong relations with Engineers to ensure their vision (and MVP) can be reality. Without input on constraints and bandwidth, the final product can be less effective.
